Visionaries + Voices is an inclusive arts organization providing creative, professional, and educational opportunities for adults with disabilities.

The concept for Visionaries + Voices emerged in 2001 when Keith Banner and Bill Ross curated an exhibition in Base Gallery for artists Paul Rowland, Richard Brown, Antonio Adams, and Raymond Thunder-Sky. Bill and Keith both worked for county boards serving individuals with disabilities and met these artists over the course of their work. After that initial exhibition, more opportunities arose to organize shows and present the work of artists with disabilities.

Calling all Puppeteers, aspiring and seasoned! Visionaries+Voices invites you to submit your 3-5 minute puppet show to be considered for SHOW OF HANDS Puppet Festival's two day variety show extravaganza!

Imagine a world where the walls are soft and tufted, inviting your touch. Overhead, woven tentacles cascade from the ceiling, and strange, playful plush creatures make their home among vibrant textures.

Fiber Fantasy, curated by Sophie Harrison, is an immersive fiber and textile exhibition that brings this whimsical world to life.

Featuring the work of V+V artists, staff, and local community members, Fiber Fantasy transforms the gallery into a tactile landscape where imagination knows no bounds. Attendees are invited to touch, explore, and interact with the installations, making this a sensory rich experience for all.

Blurring the lines between art, craft, and play, Fiber Fantasy celebrates the joyful possibilities of fiber art while honoring its deep connections to accessibility, disability culture, and creative freedom. Step inside and discover a soft, colorful world built from threads, textures, and dreams.

Fiber Fantasy will run from Sept. 19 - November 17, 2025.
