Northside’s March Artist of the Month is Diamond Snowden.

Diamond Snowden creates paintings inspired by urban culture and abstract shapes. He undertakes any artistic challenge presented to him, confidently experimenting with new techniques and materials. Diamond’s art ranges from simplistic to more in-depth and multicolored pieces. Pop and urban culture have been a primary influence in Snowden’s art. This vast source of inspiration has resulted in a diverse body of work ranging from animals to cityscapes. Snowden has shown considerable leadership skills in his time at the studio. He is always willing to assist his fellow artists, and is a very positive part of the studio. Diamond graduated from the Teaching Artist Program in 2011 and is now a Teaching Artist. This has earned him multiple teaching opportunities in schools and programs throughout Greater Cincinnati. Diamond is going on 10+ years with V+V.
