INCLUSIVE ARTIST PROJECT

Artists Mike Bartels, Ruth Burton, Leah Davis, Neil Dignan, Elmer H., Tyler Spohn, Kevin White, and Cathrine Whited participated in the project. The group of eight had their original designs printed on a limited run of Bounty paper towels.

How Bounty® picked up a partnership with V+V

Let’s call it love at first sight. That’s what happened when the lead of the Bounty design team first visited V+V’s Visionarium for an art class taught by Julia Lipovsky.

After she shared her experience with her colleagues on Team Bounty, she invited one of their creative agencies, Sterling Brands, to tour V+V’s studio and meet the artists. Skip Cullen, V+V Exhibitions Director, and Karen Boyhen, V+V Creative Director, unveiled the artists’ vast works, and Team Bounty’s reaction was instantaneous. “This is a treasure trove!”

This “treasure trove” included drawings, paintings, ceramic, and surface design art done in the inspiring style of our artists. It led to a creative partnership with the V+V artists selected to represent their brand. The project came to be known as Bounty Prints Inclusive Artist Project Collection.

By featuring V+V artwork on Bounty paper towels, the dreams of a small-but-mighty, non-profit art studio have become a reality on grocery shelves and in kitchens across North America.

Thanks, Bounty! You’ve energized the careers of artists with developmental disabilities by letting consumers see what they can do.
