Niel Hartman, Tri-County Studio Coordinator

Niel Hartman began volunteering at Visionaries and Voices in 2004, and became a part-time outreach coordinator in 2005. Niel is now the Tri-County Studio Director. "Once you meet the artists they take you right in," Niel said. He said the best part about being Studio Director is that he enjoys his job. He wants to see the Tri-County studio become more involved with the community, and outreach to more high schools and nursing homes. Niel also wants to focus on adding more solo exhibits and continue to increase the level of artist satisfaction. In college, Niel minored in art and also assisted the disabled at assisted living and group homes. He also worked a series of residence camps, helping out individuals with everything from muscular dystrophy to diabetes. Niel is a contemporary and abstract artist, focusing on painting and mixed media. His work has been shown in New York and Los Angeles. He also enjoys backpacking, hiking, rock-climbing, or anything outdoors. Niel resides in West Chester.
